I can only imagine how frustrating things are for you atm. How long has he got on box rest now?

emo-bouncy.gif Well miracle of miracles! Xrays today are fine and I can actually start walking him out. Hoo-bloody-ray! How he hasn't managed to completely knacker himself god knows. 20 mins twice a day - that'll be interesting mucking out, getting mini-me ready for school, to school, checking H on the way, walking the dog and now an exercise regime. Just think I'll give up sleeping or live on expresso in work! Tomorrow first outing will be interesting methinks. Need to get up to an hour a day by the weekend, ice etc. But mini-me can sit on him by the weekend, just walking tho. So now I'll be walking the dog and the pony at the same time - what are the neighbours gonna think! Methinks the house is not gonna get cleaned much and the slowcooker is gonna go into overdrive. Also need a tiny pair of tendon boots. We,ve turned the corner biggrin.gif

Yahbloominghoo, Lel. Think of the weight your gonna loose with all that walking, pirouetteing/hanging on etc. Worked wonders for me. laugh.gif laugh.gif .
Sooooo chuffed for you, mini-me and the lil devil. Horses are so much easier than ponies. rolleyes.gif .

well done lel thanks fantastic news. spike will be much happier now he can be walked in hand although i dont envy you doing it for the first time with all the wind that we have today.

update on eric. his foot is healing well although we are still on foot dressings every other day. he is allowed to be walked in hand although not proper exercise just enough to graze. i find this helps to keep him sane. he has been in his stable for over a month now and in fairness he has been brilliant. as long as he has his haynet he is happy. will be another good few weeks before he will be able to be walked out properly.

Note for future reference..........walking pony and dog at same time is NOT a good idea.

Not sure who took who for a walk and Spike has developed a dislike of traffic so now he spins round and kicks out or rears every time car passes us. Bloody brilliant! So can't entertain mini-me sitting on him at mo...bummer! Should be better I hope when he gets proper turnout again and think I'll have to ride and lead off Henry to get him settled again. Can only move in walk at present so is not conducive to letting off the steam that has inevitably built up over 6 weeks. But at least he's not trying to kick my head in in the stable anymore.

Gonna be looking to use somebodys school soon..BJ or Vichy??
