Hi everyone, I am new to the forum

I don't live in Carmarthenshire yet but have put an offer in on a house which has been accepted and am just waiting to sell mine

I'm very excited and love the area, can't wait to have the horses at home again.

The house is near Lampeter, within hacking distance of Brechfa forest, so lots of lovely hacking. I've looked at quite a few houses in the area and have been down to the forest quite a few times this year, we always tend to stop at the picnic area in the forest at Rhydcymerau, I love the stream there, can't wait to be able to hack past there every day!

I have 7 horses, 3 chestnuts and a technically chestnut,lol, first is a 14.3 arab x welsh gelding who is my current riding horse, a 16hh idxtb mare who is retired, a 16.3hh tb ex racer mare who is also retired, and a 2 yr old chestnut few spot appy filly, who is mostly white,lol.
My others are a 14hh black welsh cob mare, a 12hh grey welsh section a mare and a 15.1hh bay hw cob gelding, who are owned by my mum but I do most things with them.

I do a bit of endurance riding, my ex racer got me into it a couple of years before she was retired, I then got my arab x welsh lad who was a 'problem' horse, he didn't lead or load at all when I got him, so took about a year to get him spot on, I did a season of endurance but he started getting bad to catch when he saw the trailer and actually kicked me in the arm when I tried to catch him when I upped the mileage, so I decided to stop as he was obviously not enjoying himself. So I made the decision to move and find some better hacking.

P.S I found you through google, but know someone from the area on another forum and they told me about you

I think there's a few people on here near you then, Belle and Reddragon, and Jillie too, though she doesn't post here much.
