No joint meet with Banwen at Scotch Pine this year?! Any reason?

but they have got a joint meet at Reynoldson

never been to the scotch pines one either

How much would it cost Sarah if I wanted to come along for the day as some of their meets are quite close to me - the one in Nantgaredig is really close and stunning country there too

has anyone hunted with banwen miners?
am going to their beginners meet on the 24th oct, never been before arhhh!

they have got a joint meet on the 16th Jan at the scotch pines listed on their fixtures page

I'm tempted to go to the Banwen beginner's meet instead of the Llandeilo one, which is the week before, as there's already the Crychan ride and showjumping clinic on the weekend of the 17th! Plus it's much easier to get to!

I looked at the etiquette FAQ on the Banwen, and it says unplaited for Autumn hunting, and plaited for Opening meet onwards, but it doesn't say which is the Opening meet so I don't know whether I need to plait or not, help???!!!

Don't panic about plaiting, most don't bother. It's not 'posh'. They are just really happy to see new faces.
Will probs go to a few, pick and choose the better meets.
Don't be put off thinking there'll be loads of galloping and jumps, cos there ain't. Plus any 'jumps' are easily got around. Bring a hip flask for the hanging around bits whilst hounds are drawing.
